Born 17 April 2009, Kayne is an Australian para athlete specialising in long jump. Competing with right-side hemiplegia due to an in-utero stroke, he has quickly established himself as one of the country’s most promising young talents.

Kayne first got into the sport of athletics as his school sports teacher recommended he tried out for NQ athletics team for state championships which saw him competing at nationals only 8 weeks later where Kayne secured his first gold medal.

Kayne is the current National record holder in the U15 and U17 T37 Long Jump.
